1933 Marx, Rookie Cop in Original Box
Superb Marx "Rookie Cop" complete with original box. Early Marx motorcycle toy clockwork tin litho features large attached keys which upright it when it leans too far to one side and falls over. Attractively detailed in dress blue uniform with boots, cap and gloves. Start/stop lever on rear fender enables two rear parallel disk wheels to rotate. Cycle is bright red with blue balloon tires. Box illustrated with surprised cartoon-like policeman. Size: 8" x 5-3/4" high. Sold: Aug. 2006
